As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my Word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. To be used for such a cruel purpose greatly distressed the tree, & Jesus nailed upon it, sensed this. In His gentle pity for all sorrow & suffering Jesus said to the tree: "Because of your regret and pity for My suffering, never again shall the dogwood tree grow large enough to be used as a cross. Its blossoms shall be in the form of a cross. See the nail prints, brown & stained with red, in the center a crown of thorns. Let all remember." | What do you see?
